All the best, cats! 元気でね、猫ちゃん！

This summer, I took care of seven cats. Tomorrow the family will come back. They already look forward to seeing their cats again. One of the owners, a boy, sent a message that he misses the cats very much. I hope that I could care for them well. It was really a nice time with them and enriched my soul. Those cats are so cute, even the shy one comes much closer now and often I have a feeling that his face is smiling at me. The other fearful one shows itself often and at feeding time it seems that he shows “I am hungry”. It was also fun to play with them with toys. I have a feeling that I am their mother. The family said that I could just come over any time to give them some treats. All the best, cats! I love you!

この夏は、7匹の猫のお世話をしました。明日、飼い主家族が帰ってきます。猫たちのご主人である男の子から「早く猫たちに会いたい！」というメールをもらいました。私の世話は充分だったかなぁ。いずれにせよ、とても素敵な日々で、心が満たされるようでした。もう、本当にとっても可愛い猫たちで、怖がりの1匹も、今では私のすぐ傍まで来て、時々、微笑んでいるような目つきを見かける気がします。もう1匹の臆病な猫も、ご飯時間に出てきて「お腹すいた」と主張するかのようになりました。みんなと猫じゃらしで遊ぶのも楽しかったです。私は、なんだか猫のお母さんになったような気持ちがしています。飼い主家族は、また時々遊びに来て、おやつをやったりしてください、と言ってくれています。元気でね、猫ちゃん！みんな大好きよ！
